Hey, I’m Michaela!

I am Michaela Befort, a creative problem-solver looking to engage with a successful team in product design. I am a multifaceted artist with experience in fashion design, studio art, and product presentation, with nine years of customer service experience. Currently, I am a student at Purdue University, majoring in Industrial Design with a focus on blending aesthetics, function, and innovation. I’m also minoring in management and earning a certificate in entrepreneurship, which helps me think about both design and business impact. I’m really interested in wearable technology, adaptive clothing, or smart accessories. Purdue's Industrial Design program has taught me skills such as CAD modeling, 3-D printing, laser cutting, design drawing, and physical and digital rendering. Combining this experience, I am able to blend design thinking with business principles to achieve creative business development.
